America's Next Top Model | Harford County Children's Photographer

I name this post in all seriousness, this girl is going places!  Meet Tamsyn, an amazing little girl with one of the most vibrant spirits I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.  And if you know her even a little bit I'm SURE you'll agree.  We had a total blast during this session, I think all of us were all smiles the entire time. It was one of those sessions where I have to be extra careful about not letting my camera shake from laughter.  Here are some pictures from our session, and I'll tell you in advance these are ALL Tamsyn - besides me picking the location and basic components.  What a gal!

I LOVE this picture of Tamsyn with her special guy Stinko - my girls love on their blankies the same way.

Such a fun day ladies, thanks! - Anne

Fallston Family | Harford County Family Photographer

I took pictures of this family on my last visit to Harford County.  It was threatening rain during the beginning of our session, and 3/4 of the way into it we took a break and got to catch up in their garage as the kids rode their little cars around in the rain.  They were very patient though and we were able to get a family photo in front of their home very close to their one year anniversary of closing on it.  They are so happy with where they have chosen to grow their roots, and it shows!  Very inspiring since I myself am trying to move back into Fallston.  And well, yes, I know a select few of you are saying to me they technically are in Baldwin but... details, details!  Carey and Gus are great people raising two adorable little spirits... here are some pictures from our session.

Thanks for a fun afternoon guys! - Anne

Family History | Harford County Family Photographer

I love meeting up with families again and seeing how their children have grown.  It's amazing how fast it all happens, especially when they are young.  These little munchkins, especially little Emme, are growing up so fast I was happy to capture them as they are at this moment in time.  And what can I say, they make it easy for me... just take a look at this gorgeous family!

We got so lucky because it looked for sure like we were going to get poured on.  It was even raining on my way to the site.  Luckily the weather was on our side.  Here are the kiddos going for a walk...

I had fun with Brooklyn during this little series.  I love the adorable expression on her face here.  It's followed by a great smile but I love the attitude in this particular expression!

Oldest Isabella - such a classic beauty!  She helped me with some of the setups this time and did a great job.  This pose is all her!

And *Oh* goodness how cute, beautiful, and timeless is little Emme?  I just love this picture and all of the unexpected porcelin blues from the ceiling that showed up when I took her photo from this low angle.  Precious.

I couldn't choose one so you get two of Emme!

And here is the A-Mazing woman (with her son Hunter who wasn't feeling well and was a trooper!) who keeps this family so close knit...

Of course I've got to give major credit to dad Jamie too.  You guys do an awesome job and it was a privilege of mine to get to see you all again.  Thanks for a great afternoon! - Anne

Lots of Love | Phoenix Family Photographer

I met Stacey and her daughter the other morning for pictures and although I can't post all of the recent mini sessions, I wanted to share the photos from this one.  There is just a bond between these two lovely ladies and it shows!

You can't tell but she is laughing with mom here - only a mom can get this kind of smile from her daughter, I love it!

Thanks for a fun morning, ladies! - Anne

So Handsome | Harford County Family Photographer

How cute is this little guy!!  I just love his facial expressions, he was a little quiet when the "A" family arrived but it didn't take long for his little personality to show.

Thanks for a fun morning guys! - Anne

Blake Turns Two | Harford County Children's Photographer

I was really excited when parents Molly and Tim were game for taking this next set of pictures out of town.  I love shooting in Phoenix, don't get me wrong, but I love changing it up and having something unexpected in the background.  These next location definitely qualified as "different".  We came upon a collector of all things antique.  At first it all looked like junk, but then his careful arrangement of delicately balanced antique lanterns, groupings of old wash bins and glass jugs, and placement of vintage stoves and ovens started to take shape.  All placed perfectly on a rustic styled backdrop of his old shed in the woods.  Sounds crazy, right?  But it just worked, especially with this little man's outfit, and made those big blue eyes pop!

Blake you have grown up before my eyes, and I hope two is a wonderful year for you.  You've got an amazing family surrounding you and a great start on life! - Anne

Nine Months and Growing | Harford County Children's Photographer

I met Mandi and Chris early in the morning last week for our shoot, and when they took their son Landon out of the car I was instantly captivated at what a distinguished little gentleman he was.  He was just adorable, and his personality was made to match!  He pretty much let us put him anywhere and was SO easy going.  I had a great time trying out some new props that my neighbor let me borrow.  Thanks again, De!  I love how this session turned out.  Here is Landon practicing walking with daddy.

Here's just the most adorable little face!  So handsome.

I love this one shot into the sun in this little old wagon.  The haze gives it such a timeless feel.  I can see this one hanging on a wall.

This might be my favorite photo from our session.  Mandi does such a good job making him smile and laugh, and he couldn't help but go in for a little Landon-style kiss.

Love this last one shot into the sun.

Mandi and Chris you do such an amazing job with Landon.  Nine months is a golden age that goes by so fast. I hope you enjoy these memories! - Anne

Momma to Be | Harford County Maternity Photographer

This little momma is going to stun you so watch out :)  I met Samantha and her husband last week in Maryland for maternity photos.  The sun was just an hour from dipping beyond the trees and we were able to do a bunch of great setups plus capture those golden hazy moments.  Here are some pictures from our session.  We lucked out and got just enough shade to use this amazing door.

I was actually packing up to go and turned around to talk to Samantha before this next shot.  I saw her standing there and had to take everything back out to get this picture and I'm SO glad I did.  She's glowing and just so beautiful.

They humored me with this walk in the field and I love the way this turned out.

Thanks for a great evening guys, can't wait to meet the little one! - Anne

Vintage Memories | Harford County Family Photographer

After an extended break from shooting due to my hernia surgery I was SO happy to get my camera back out again for this family.  Ashley and I had been talking for what seemed like forever about getting together for pictures.  Lucky for me she's not only a great mom to four kiddos, but she has a knack for setting up the scene for great photos!  She chose the spot where she and her husband were married, and had everyone dressed and coordinated.  Her children were so well behaved, it made everything easy for me.

February is an interesting time to shoot outside in Maryland.  Normally it's a little dismal and dead/brown so there aren't vibrant colors, but I love the way these pictures turned out with the location.  It really gave the photos the same vintage feel that their wedding spot had.  I thought the kiddos might think it was too cold, but Ashley was right - they were just fine!  It reminded me of how I never noticed the weather when I was younger.  I'm really glad we were able to capture something unique and different that holds more than one meaning for this special family.

Thanks for a great time, guys!  I really enjoyed meeting you - and as promised 4 lollipops are in the mail :)

Dance and Dash {Harford County, Maryland Family Photographer}

The other day I photographed Suzanne and Mike's family and we could not have had better weather.  There was a crisp fall feel to the air, but it was still warm enough to play around and have lots of fun, which is what we did!  Suzanne and Mike have two cute little kids, Cameron and Kieran, that both look so much like their daddy.  Cameron is one of those little girls that will win your heart over before you really know what happened.  Suzanne brought the cutest little tutu for her.  She could be a future dancer!  Here she is playing in some of the warm sunshine we had.

Here is Kieran with his family, full of energy and life.

I love this picture.  Kieran was so interested to see what was in this shed.  Daddy picked him up and he rubbed the window to see if Santa had hidden some toys inside!

Cameron is so close to walking.  This is one of those moments that won't happen for too much longer because she's almost ready to take off.

Kieran was so busy, as almost all children are.  He literally would dash from one spot to the next, examining everything!  When he saw these flowers he just lit up, and stopped everything to enjoy them.

Suzanne and Mike, I had a fantastic morning with you and your children, thanks again!
