Sometimes you come across someone who is so superbly suited for what they are doing that they just seem to melt into it.  In this case it is Adrienne carrying her child.  She just looks so right doing it.  I had so much fun taking her maternity pictures as we literally dodged raindrops.  Here are some pictures from her session.

She is JUST radiant.  I can't wait to meet baby H and find out if it is a boy or a girl!  I'll be capturing those fleeting and extremely special newborn moments for this family in just a week or two and I could not be more honored.  Thanks for a great morning guys! - Anne

Oh, to be all moved and back in the swing of things!  And I could not have started any smoother than with this ultra sweet baby girl.  Now I know little ladies are supposed to be the feisty ones at these sessions, but she proved them all wrong and was a perfect little gem.  A sleeping dream.  Words really can't describe so I'll cut right to the cuteness...

A big congrats to mom and dad, and thanks for the yummy salad!  In case you're wondering the answer is no, I did not end up sharing it with my hubby.  It was SO good I accidentally ate it all.

Well it's been a very long time in the making, but my family and I are finally moving back to Harford County, Maryland.  I am so excited to bring Anne Herbert Photography back with me.  Those of you in the Harford County area have welcomed me with open arms over the past couple of years for the seasonal sessions, and I am looking very forward to being available to all of my Maryland families year round.  That being said I am really going to miss my Arizona families, but you will now get me on my seasonal visits out West!  I'll keep you updated on my schedule through email and Facebook.  Thank you!

Tres Doux | Harford County Baby Photographer | Anne Herbert

This next little guy who I'll call baby "L" was named after a dear friend of his parents.  He is truly "Very Sweet" and I was honored to take his photos.  They drove all the way down from the Philidelphia area.  We had great weather for this one and the session was a blast.  What a happy little boy!  Have you seen a cuter pair of little feet?  He's watching his cousin shake her bracelet!

I love this one with mom!  So in love with her son and soaking up that wonderful smell of a baby. 

And I did have to talk mom into this one but I love the way it came out.  I'm not a huge fan of blankets in pictures and we managed to get this in two quick seconds!

I had to wiggle my way into this site to shoot but it was worth it.  Laura has two beautiful little children and this historical location not only reflects timelessness, but it is also the site where Laura and her husband had their engagement pictures taken.  I LOVE the concept of returning to your engagement site with your kiddos - what depth of meaning it adds to the pictures!  Here are some pictures from the session - and please prepare yourself, Patrick and Sarah are completely adorable :)

Newborn Adam | Harford County Newborn Photographer

I have a room's worth of newborn props and accessories that I squeeze into a closet under the stairs in my house (that's an Arizona basement for all of you back east).  I'm sort of a prop junkie when it comes to newborns, and so I had to think logistics when Michael called me to photograph his newborn baby in Maryland.  What could I bring with me?  What could I secure while I was there? And I was going to have to improvise.  Parents Michael and Monika were game though and we were able to create a nice variety of setups.  Little Adam was a feisty one, and they both helped me keep him alseep.  Here are some images from the session.  

I love how peaceful he looks here with his little knees drawn up...

Adam was so new his little peach fuzz was still there.  I love how it caught the light in this next shot.
