Meredith and Kevin | Forest Hill Wedding Photographer

I met up with Meredith and Kevin over skies that were threatening to rain out their engagement shoot.  We had so much rain in a few short weeks it was unreal!  Luckily we we able to take the pictures and no sooner were we done than Kevin noticed raindrops on the cars as we prepared to leave.  We were lucky to catch a break.

Meredith and Kevin are a great couple.  I am really excited to shoot their wedding next year, especially after spending a little time with them.  Here are some shots from their engagement session...

So excited for you guys!  - Anne

Fancy Nancy | Harford County Custom Children's Photography

Here I have another winner, this time from a little comment contest I had.  T is born to be in front of the lens - I have her Top Model session blogged here - and this time she brought her Halloween costume with her.  We decided to go for a bright and colorful location to compliment her personality and it was a great match.  Here are some pictures form our session...

So much fun to see you again, T!

My Winner! | Fallston Family Photographer

Earlier this year Angela won a drawing I had for a session and 15 digital images.  We finally got to do the shoot the other day and her boys were so cute and did great.  If you are interested in keeping up with things I give away from time to time be sure to become a fan of my Facebook Page here.  They tell me that with the new changes in order to see fan page postings that you need to interact with the page so make sure you leave a like or comment if you want to see what giveaways come up.

Here are some pictures from Angela's family session...

Thanks for a fun day guys!

A Love Story | Harford County Wedding Photographer

I was so excited when Julie and Sam asked me to be their wedding photographer.  Julie and I spent a lot of time together when we were children and it was a true honor to be able to capture her marriage to Sam.  When I first met with them it was so obvious right away what a good match they are for each other, and there is such a calmness they both have about them when they are in each other's presence.  Each element of the day was so carefully planned out, and all of their details were so personal.  Here are some pictures of their day...

Julie was surrounded by people who cared so much for her.  Everyone seemed just as excited as Julie and Sam that they were tying the knot.

Julie and Candace MADE their own bouquets!  I think it's safe to say they both have a career waiting for them in florals!  They turned out amazing.

This next moment is Julie and Sam's first look.  It was such a nice, private moment for them to connect privately before they met in front of all of their guests.

Julie and Sam were married on the Pier of the Bond Street Wharf in Baltimore City.  The venue was stunning and simple as they let the surrounding architecture and water of the harbor frame their moment.

They were married by their friend Becky, who did an amazing job.  Her opening message set the tone for this moment, which became personal to everyone present.

They do!

Julie and Sam had their reception at The Wine Market.  They wanted everyone to relax and have fun without too many formalities - and it worked!  I love this shot of them in front of one of the adjacent buildings.

And more reflection of their urban setting...

Julie and Sam also had the creative idea of putting a Polaroid Camera at the reception for guests to take pictures of themselves.  The pictures were paired with advice for the couple.

They also created their own favors, gorgeous!  This little magnet has made it's way onto my fridge and I love that it reminds me of their day.

Their personalized cake and cupcakes from the yummy Flavory Cupcakery.  If you have never had a cupcake from them go get in the car right now!

A couple more shots of the Bride and Groom...

Julie and Sam, thank you so much for choosing me to capture your special day.  It was truly an honor for me and I wish you both all the very best in love.

Ryleigh's Happy Day | Harford County Family Photographer

Ryleigh was such a cool little girl.  From the minute she got out of the car she was enthusiastic, agreeable, and ready to get going and have fun.  Her little positive attitude was infectious and I couldn't help but look at her mom over and over with a look of "oh my gosh she's awesome!"  Little kiddos don't just end up like this, it is most definitely the result of great parenting and caring adults who shape and mold these little people.  I'm just lucky enough to run into lots of them in my work!  This session was really fun for me.  Here are some peeks:

We shot so close to and even into dusk, and I love the vintage feel it gave these photos.  Ryleigh's little outfits blended in with the feel of the photos and locations and I'm really happy with the way they turned out.  And mom, yes, you need one of that little blue dress in every size! :)  -Anne

Star of the Show | Harford County Children's Photographer

Every once in awhile I run into a little person who is Star of the Show.  It's a brilliant quality to have because it means they are going further than far in whatever it is they'll choose to do when they grow up.

They'll be right where they want in life and never look back.  Never having to wonder if things could have been different had they more courage in their convictions.

They are all personality and not afraid to be who they are one hundred percent of the time.

They live hard, laugh hard, love hard.

Little Anna is, without a doubt, Star of the Show.  And how lucky am I to have captured this little gem in all of her two year old glory?  It was a true honor.  Here are some pictures from our session.  I'm in love with them all.

Had a great morning with you and your Mommy and Daddy Ms. Anna! - Anne
